The Clay Game Co. specialises in some of the most exciting and realistic simulated game shooting in the West of Scotland.
Simulated game shooting is rapidly increasing in popularity and is broadly seen as an opportunity for dedicated game shots to improve their technique and beginners to have a taste of the “real thing” whether simply supervised or under tuition. It’s appeal has expanded to include guests who wish to experience the hospitality, excitement and sport of a shoot day but choose to do this during months of better weather (outwith the season) or to exclude a live game target.
Here on the Glenstriven Estate we are extremely fortunate to be able to utilise our game drives out of season for simulated drives. This means that we can show “birds” from established flight paths and flushing points giving a sporting experience that is second to none.
Packages and Prices
The following packages/prices are intended as a guide only. We welcome the opportunity to put together bespoke experiences with our guests and price them according to guests’ requirements.
The Clay Game Full Day
£200 per gun (without cartridges), £250 ( Including 250 Cartridges)
Bacon roll and coffee on arrival
3 morning drives including “elevenses” taken on the estate
Lunch
Afternoon drive
Tea/coffee and light refreshments prior to departure
Prices based on teams of 8 guns
The Clay Game Half Day
£100 per gun (no cartridges), £125 per gun (100 cartridges included)
Light refreshments, tea/coffee on arrival
3 drives
Followed by BBQ or sandwiches
Prices based on teams of 8 guns
The Clay Game Tuition
£40 per hour ‘Have a Go’ | £60 with tuition and cartridges
Light refreshment on arrival followed by an hour (or more to suit) tuition on various targets with Ian.
The Clay Game Accommodation / Hospitality
Guests wishing to extend their shooting experience into a longer stay may be interested to know that we have accommodation available on the Estate. From the cosy Invervaigan Farmhouse situated at the foot of one of the most picturesque Glens in the West of Scotland to the more informal grandeur of Glenstriven House, our unique properties open up a wealth of possibilities for guests keen to tailor-make their own occasion.
The Clay Game Location
The Clay Game’s location within Glenstriven Estate is easily accessible from Glasgow and its many National and International transport links. Situated on the shores of Loch Striven, our nearest town is Dunoon, reached via ferry links with Gourock, or a scenic drive over the Erskine Bridge and the Rest and Be Thankful. Transfers can be arranged from Glasgow Airport or City Centre via private cars/taxis, luxury coaches or even on board a helicopter direct to the Estate itself.
